Pine Rivers is a club steeped in tradition being established in the 1920's as Strathpine CC, going on to become as it's known now, Pine Rivers Cricket Club. The club is focused on the development of young cricketers and the success of our senior cricket teams. Pine Rivers encourages players of all ages and abilities to come and enjoy the great game of cricket.

The contribution from Moreton Bay Regional Council has been used to purchase cricket helmets for the junior teams as it is now mandatory for all junior players to wear helmets whilst playing.
“Council’s community grants support local community, youth, senior citizen, sporting and cultural events and activities,” Mayor Sutherland said.
“Funding is available for initiatives that respond to community issues, enhance wellbeing and safety and encourage participation and partnerships.
“They’re a great way for council to support the community organisations, activities, events and initiatives that matter to our residents.”
